As President of TriStar Health, I thank you for the opportunity to tell you about our family and how we fit into the healthcare picture throughout Tennessee, South Central Kentucky and Northern Georgia.
TriStar Health is the region’s largest, most comprehensive healthcare provider with 18 hospitals and 10 ambulatory surgery centers. Our facilities range in size from TriStar Centennial Medical Center, our tertiary center in the heart of Nashville, to TriStar Ashland City, an emergency-service facility. Our hospitals are vital to the community they serve and crucial to our strategy of offering quality medical care closest to our customers.
We are committed to delivering the highest quality patient care possible. Our model for delivering quality patient care close to where our patients live and work is unmatched by any other healthcare provider in the region.
As we evolve to meet our customer's changing needs, we operate within an unchanging system of values. We are proud to continue the legacy of Dr. Thomas Frist Sr., the founder of our parent company, HCA. Dr. Frist embraced the worth of the human spirit and the duty of each of us to improve ourselves and those with whom we come into contact. TriStar Health is also home to TriStar Sarah Cannon Cancer Center Network. Accredited by the Cancer Commission of the American College of Surgeons with Commendations for providing superior cancer care—The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center network is second to none in the region for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
With nine affiliated medical facilities, The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center Network has grown to become the largest community-based, privately funded, diagnostic and treatment center in the country. With more than 100 world-class cancer experts and researchers in two states, more patients are benefiting from life-saving cancer diagnosis and treatment.
