Smyrna, TN July 22, 2011 – Dr. Corbi Milligan has been named StoneCrest Medical Center chief of staff for 2011 and 2012. Elected by her peers, Dr. Milligan plays a critical role in overseeing patient care, organizational planning, physician credentialing, and development of bylaws for physicians working in the hospital. She has been a member of the StoneCrest medical staff since 2004. Dr. Milligan currently serves as a StoneCrest hospitalist where she specializes in the treatment of hospitalized patients. She was previously in private practice with Milligan Med/Peds PLLC. Dr. Milligan trained in medicine at University of Tennessee, completed residency at Louisiana State University, and is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics.
