The Women’s Hospital at Centennial Medical Unveils New OB/GYN Emergency Department

The Women’s Hospital at Centennial Medical Center celebrated the completion of the new OB/GYN Emergency Department today with a grand opening reception showcasing the new, state-of-the-art OB/GYN Emergency Department, as well as the hospital’s new lactation education area with consultation rooms and retail space, redesigned registration and lobby areas. The new OB/GYN Emergency Department will officially open Monday, May 2, marking one year since the catastrophic floods damaged portions of The Women’s Hospital.

OBGYN Joins Hendersonville Medical Center Staff

Tamie Babb, M.D., a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, has joined the medical staff at Hendersonville Medical Center. Dr. Babb joins Dr. Brett Branson and Dr. Brandon Riggan at Bluegrass Obstetrics and Gynecology and comes to Hendersonville after being in private practice in Cushing, Oklahoma, for more than 12 years.

Hendersonville Medical Center recognized its volunteers with a luncheon and awards ceremony on April 12 to coincide with National Volunteer Week. “We are very fortunate to have each and every one of our volunteers,” said Regina Bartlett, CEO of Hendersonville Medical Center. “There are many things these individuals could do with their free time, but they choose to spend it serving our patients and their families.”

A special luncheon was held at Skyline Medical Center on Monday, April 11th to celebrate and honor the service and dedication of 210 Skyline Auxiliary volunteers. The event was in celebration of National Volunteer Week which honors the over 63 million Americans who volunteer annually nationwide.
