Two seasoned Human Resources professionals have recently joined the team at Hendersonville Medical Center. Andre Dyer was recently named Vice President of Human Resources, taking the helm on December 1, and Jennifer Burden begins her new position as Human Resources Manager on January 1.

Blood And Marrow Transplant Program Earns National Accreditation

The Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) has awarded accreditation to The Sarah Cannon Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program at Centennial Medical Center, which is a joint program between Tennessee Oncology and Centennial Medical Center.

Health Services Development Agency Approves Southern Hills OB Suspension

Southern Hills Medical Center has received certificate of need approval from the Tennessee Health Services Development Agency to no longer deliver babies or provide maternity services. The hospital has not provided obstetric services since September 1, 2008.

The neurological landscape is rapidly changing. As the population ages, serious disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease are becoming more common.That's why Skyline Medical Center, Tennessee's first hospital to earn Primary Stroke Center Certification from the Joint Commission, is expanding their neurological intensive care unit from 6 to 12 beds and inpatient rehabilitation units from 31 to 41 to meet this increased demand.
