DR. BRAD HOOVER HONORED WITH FRIST HUMANITARIAN AWARD

The Frist Humanitarian Awards were created to recognize one employee, one volunteer and one physician at each HCA facility across the country who demonstrate extraordinary concern for the welfare and happiness of patients and their community. On Wednesday, February 25, the winners of the 2008 Frist Humanitarian Awards were announced and honored at a reception at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN. The winners are Clarrissa Anderson, Volunteer; Ann Kuklinski, PBX; and Dr. Brad W. Hoover. The Frist Humanitarian Awards are given annually in recognition of the humanitarian spirit and philanthropic work of the late Dr. Thomas F. Frist, Sr., a founder of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).

Women’s Hospital Completes Neonatal ICU Expansion

The Women’s Hospital at Centennial Medical Center has completed the final phase of its Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) expansion project. The $15.5 million project expanded the NICU from 40 to 60 beds and more than tripled its square footage to 22,200 square feet of space.
