The Sarah Cannon Advantage

Sarah Cannon takes a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to the care of each patient with complex GI tumors. We facilitate efficient access to multimodality treatments and physician collaboration to determine the best cancer treatment option for these complex cases. Sarah Cannon Research Institute offers access to the latest agents in development for treating cancers and the ability to tailor therapy options specifically for each patient.

State-of-the-Art Technology for Cancer Treatment

Surgical oncologists have specialized knowledge of rare, unusual or complex cancer types and treat a high volume of patients with these conditions. They also have the ability to more precisely treat the tumor and lessen side effects of treatment with intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and the only CyberKnife in Middle Tennessee.

Along with Sarah Cannon, TriStar Health offers endoscopic ultrasounds (EUS) to more precisely diagnose and stage cancers and specialized endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to better treat obtrusive effects of cancers.

Interventional radiologists specialize in cutting-edge radioembolization treatments (selective internal radiation therapy), as well as chemo-embolization and radiofrequency ablation (RFA).
