Freestanding ER services
Just like a hospital-based emergency room, our freestanding ER provides a range of emergency services, including:
- Full-service emergency care — the same services and accreditation standards as hospital-based ERs
- Staffed 24/7 by emergency medicine doctors, specially trained emergency nurses and support teams
- Advanced imaging for diagnostics and testing, including CT scan and X-ray
- Decontamination room
- Dedicated safe rooms for patients requiring psychiatric evaluation
- Helipad to expedite transport of seriously ill or injured patients
- Negative-pressure room (for wound care)
- Private rooms, including rooms for pediatric patients, and a trauma room
- Immediate access to other specialists at our parent hospital TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, if needed

Emergency care in Portland
Our emergency room is always staffed by board-certified physicians and experienced nursing staff and is open 24/7. The primary difference is that we are not physically attached to a hospital but instead serve as a fully integrated extension of TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center’s ER.
