Brian Marger appointed as chief executive officer at TriStar Skyline Medical Center

Marger to oversee the state-designated level one trauma center, comprehensive burn program and advanced neuroscience center.

Nashville, Tenn. — TriStar Skyline Medical Center is pleased to announce Brian Marger as its new chief executive officer. The hospital serves patients from across the region through its state-designated level one trauma center, comprehensive burn program and advanced neuroscience center. Previously, Marger served as the regional vice president for cancer services with Sarah Cannon Cancer Network at the HCA Healthcare TriStar Division.

Marger has served in many healthcare leadership roles within HCA Healthcare, including chief executive officer of TriStar Summit Medical Center and chief operating officer at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. He briefly led Onsite Women’s Health as chief executive officer before returning to HCA Healthcare.

Marger received a Master of Business Administration in finance and healthcare from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Nashville Healthcare Council Fellow. He has also served on several non-profit and professional boards, including Gilda’s Club of Middle Tennessee, Alive Hospice, Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute.
