- General orthopedic care
- Hand and upper extremity care
- Adult joint reconstruction (hip, shoulder and knee replacements)
- Spine care
Advanced robot-assisted surgery
Our orthopedic team wants your recovery to be as quick as possible. That is why, whenever it is an option, we will recommend a robotic approach to surgery.
Benefits associated with robotic surgery include:
- Smaller incisions
- Less tissue trauma
- Shorter hospital stays
- Minimal scarring
- Faster recovery
How robot-assisted joint surgery works
Our robotic arm software uses an imaging scan to create a 3D model of your unique joint. This model allows the surgeon to develop your personalized surgery plan. During surgery, the surgeon controls the robotic arm. This allows us to precisely position the implant, preserving healthy bone and tissue.
We offer robot-assisted surgery for:
- Partial knee replacements
- Total knee replacements
- Total hip replacements
The goal of joint replacement surgery is to provide a pain-free hip, knee or shoulder movement that will last as long as possible and allow you to enjoy a normal lifestyle. Most hip and knee replacements performed today should last 10 to 15 years or longer.
Through our joint center, you will have access to:
- Experienced orthopedic surgeons
- Specially trained nurses and technicians
- Orthopedic therapists
Why choose TriStar StoneCrest for joint replacement
Our staff has been hand-picked for their positive attitudes, motivational skills and their desire to deliver outstanding service. Additionally, they have been specially trained to provide comprehensive clinical care for patients undergoing knee, hip or shoulder replacement.
Also, within our hospital we have created a special area just for the care of our joint replacement patients. No hospital gowns for this crowd - you get to wear your own clothes after surgery.
Following surgery, you will participate in our coordinated, multidisciplinary physical therapy program. Our innovative regimen focuses on helping patients regain maximum mobility with the ultimate goal of returning to an active lifestyle. Patient education and personal interaction with our staff is our priority throughout your stay.
Family members are encouraged to participate with you in the recovery process by learning about special exercises, medications and follow-up care. This can help make the transition home a smooth one. Some exercise and therapy may be provided in a group setting. This allows our patients to support and encourage each other on the road to recovery.
