The road to confidence: Kendall's weight loss journey
With growing health concerns, Kendall knew it was time to make a lifestyle change. She turned to TriStar Centennial Center for Weight Management and is now anticipating her future with confidence.
At 19-years-old, Kendall beamed with excitement as her high school sweetheart proposed. As Kendall, now 21, and her new fiancé looked toward their bright future together, Kendall’s health began to take a toll.
“My health was going downhill fast. At 21-years-old, I had high cholesterol, PCOS, kidney stones, a detached retina, sciatica, hyperhidrosis, tachycardia, rosacea, chronic dry eye disease, binge eating disorder and more,” said Kendall. “The list just seemed to be growing day by day, and I just couldn't sit back and let it happen anymore. Once I hit 300lbs, I knew I had to make a change.”
In March of 2024, Kendall decided to make a positive lifestyle change by undergoing weight loss surgery at TriStar Centennial Center for Weight Management. Her commitment to a healthier lifestyle changed many aspects of her life.
“My life has changed tremendously in the last few months,” said Kendall. “I have my confidence back, and my health is improving every day. I have the motivation to go out and do things instead of isolating myself from everyone and everything. I am still in the beginning of my journey, but I'm excited to see how my life changes in the years to come.”
Today, Kendall, her fiancé and their three beloved cats are anticipating getting married in November 2025. Kendall credits her confidence to the team at TriStar Centennial Center for Weight Management.
