As we celebrate National Sons and Daughters Day, TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center proudly celebrates the special bond between a mother and daughter who share a deep family connection and work side by side to provide exceptional care for their patients.

Leah Moran, RN, and Rebecca Moran, a patient care tech, work on the medical/surgical unit at TriStar StoneCrest. Their relationship is more than just mother and daughter; it's a partnership in care that exemplifies the hospital's "Care Like Family" theme.

Rebecca Moran has been a dedicated member of the TriStar StoneCrest family for 16 years, inspiring her daughter Leah with her unwavering commitment to healthcare. Leah, moved by her mother's motivation and dedication, decided to follow in her footsteps and became a nurse, joining the TriStar StoneCrest team two and a half years ago.

"We've always been best friends, and now we are each other's favorite co-workers," Leah shared.

Their shifts may differ, with Rebecca working days and Leah working nights, but that hasn't tarnished their bond. "The best part of my shift is when my Mom checks on me every day before she leaves," Leah said. She loves StoneCrest and has tried to get me to come on board for a while, and now I see firsthand why. Let's say our family has grown."

The Moran duo's connection brings a unique dynamic to the medical/surgical units, where their mutual support and shared dedication enhance the care they provide. Their partnership extends beyond the walls of TriStar StoneCrest, reinforcing their close-knit relationship both at work and at home.

This National Sons and Daughters Day, TriStar StoneCrest celebrates the special bond between Leah and Rebecca Moran, whose relationship underscores the profound impact that family can have on each other and the lives of the patients they care for.
