We are committed to providing the very best care for your child and family during your stay.
Upon admission, the child's legal guardian will be required to complete a visitation information form listing all approved visitors, including parents. All visitors, including parents, will be required to show photo identification with each visit. This is for the safety and security of your child.
Your child's medical team will consist of highly-trained doctors, nurses and other individuals who specialize in treating children and teenagers; however, you are an important part of your child's healthcare team. You know your child best and the information you have is important to us. Please share this information with us so that together we can plan what is best for your child. We will work in partnership with you to make the best decisions about your child's care.
You have the right to know everyone involved in your child's care and understand what is happening and why. Everything will be explained to you honestly, in ways you can understand. Patients and their families are encouraged to ask questions if and when they arise.
When the time comes, our case management team will assist with arrangements for your child's discharge from the hospital, including:
- Any necessary home assistance needs
- Medical equipment or supplies
