We accept all forms of government insurance from the U.S., Canada and other countries. We also accept Medicare, Medicaid, Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services (CHAMPUS), and workers compensation.

Patient policies and procedures

At TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital, we are dedicated to serving you and your family in a manner that exceeds your expectations. The information provided here will help you prepare for your visit so that you may have a restful, healing experience. And remember, you have the option to register online before you arrive.

Patient center

The main admitting area is located on the first floor of the Physician Specialty Center, and is open for registration from 5:30am until 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. If you have any questions regarding your visit, call (270) 793-2038.

Scheduling appointments

The majority of routine, outpatient and inpatient appointments are made through the Central Scheduling office. When calling to make an appointment, the following information should be available:

  • Patient name
  • Date of birth
  • Home telephone
  • Work telephone
  • Weight
  • Diagnosis/symptoms
  • Procedure/test to be scheduled
  • Type of insurance
  • Insurance policy number (if applicable)

Central Scheduling will request that either a doctor's order be faxed or you bring the doctor's order with you on the day of testing. Patients who arrive for testing without a doctor's order (written or faxed) may have their test delayed. Confirm the order by contacting the doctor or his/her office. Important information for patients

  • If you might be pregnant, please call (800) 242-5662 before your scheduled appointment time.
  • If your physician gave you X-rays to bring with you, please do not forget them, as these will be extremely crucial to achieving the best level of care.
  • If you have had any previous reaction to X-ray IV contrast agents, please call (800) 242-5662 at least 2-3 days prior to your scheduled appointment.
  • If you have a question regarding your exam or the preparation for the exam, please do not hesitate to call us. A technologist will be available should you need them.
  • If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment, you must call (270) 793-3125 to notify and reschedule.

Surgical resources

Whether you are having surgery yourself or a loved one is having surgery, we are here to help make the process as streamlined as possible. Most procedures are eligible for registration, and on the day of surgery, you may also register for surgery text messaging, a service which informs you of your loved one’s progress.

It allows patients to call, text or email their healthcare provider to both ask questions and schedule appointments. Unlimited access to personalized healthcare is available at your fingertips for an annual fee.

TriStar Health Ask-A-Nurse

Healthcare concerns can arise at any time. Day or night, we want to be there for you, so our Ask-A-Nurse service allows our expert nurses to be available 24/7 to advise on topics ranging from cardiac care to children’s health to orthopedics and men’s and women’s issues. While they can not officially diagnose conditions, they can provide you peace of mind through informative answers to your questions.

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital employs the services of hospitalists, physicians that "quarterback" patient care from the moment you set foot in our hospital until you leave. No matter the need, the hospitalist is there for you, ensuring that you and your family are being expertly taken care of every step of the way.

The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the efforts of our nurses and their compassionate, expert care. Patients, visitors, nurses, physicians and employees are invited to nominate TriStar Greenview nurses who are deserving of this award.
