Signs of a stroke

Strokes can present differently in different people, but there are some symptoms you can identify. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) describes specific strokes symptoms such as:
- Confusion, difficulty speaking and understanding speech
- Difficulty seeing in one or both eyes
- Dizziness and loss of balance
- Numbness or weakness on one side of the body
- Sudden headache without an obvious cause
