Skyline Medical Center named among America's 250 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades
This recognition places TriStar Skyline in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for clinical excellence.
TriStar Skyline Medical Center is proud to be named one of America's 250 Best Hospitals for 2025 by Healthgrades, placing it in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for clinical excellence. This is the third consecutive year TriStar Skyline has received this award, a reflection of the commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes and top-tier care. Based exclusively on patient outcomes, the annual designation is reserved for hospitals who demonstrate superior performance in providing care for conditions and procedures across multiple specialty lines and areas.
“Our team’s dedication to exceptional care drives everything we do,” said Brian Marger, chief executive officer of TriStar Skyline Medical Center. “This recognition reinforces our mission to deliver the highest-quality care to our patients and the communities we serve.”
To be considered for the list, hospitals must first have evaluations in at least 21 of the 31 Healthgrades procedures and conditions using independent, publicly available Medicare inpatient data from the Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MedPAR) file from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). To determine the top hospitals for 2025, Healthgrades then evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide.
Healthgrades also recognized TriStar Skyline as No. 1 in Tennessee for neurosciences, stroke care, orthopedic surgery and surgical care. TriStar Skyline’s specialized services include stroke, burn, wound and trauma care.
