Nashville, TN — Tristar Centennial Medical Center broke ground on a new freestanding emergency room in Bellevue, set to open fall of 2024. TriStar Bellevue ER will operate as a satellite facility of TriStar Centennial, bringing emergency services to Bellevue and surrounding communities, such as Fairview, Kingston Springs and Pegram. When completed, the 10,860 square foot building will have 11 treatment rooms, 24/7 adult and pediatric emergency care and emergency-trained physicians and nurses.

“We are exceptionally proud to bring emergency care services to the Bellevue community,” said Tom Ozburn, chief executive officer at TriStar Centennial. “This full-service ER will bring needed access to the western part of Davidson County and serve as a vital resource for patients who will no longer need to drive downtown to receive emergency care.”

Freestanding emergency rooms are always open, accept all insurance and are able to treat life-threatening emergencies such as stroke, cardiac arrest and trauma. TriStar Bellevue ER will be located at the intersection of Highway 70S and Harpeth Valley Road, right off I-40, in Bellevue. The site is easily accessible by car and ambulance.

TriStar Health’s growing network of freestanding emergency rooms provided emergency care to more than 60,000 patients in 2022. Freestanding ERs provide diagnostic and treatment services, comprehensive laboratory services and state-of-the-art imaging capabilities. With the same quality of care and accreditation standards as a hospital-based ER, freestanding emergency rooms are able to see patients faster than traditional emergency rooms.
