Experienced team of heart doctors

We have a network of over 100 heart specialists in over 30 locations who offer care ranging from the treatment of cardiovascular disease to thoracic surgery. Our cardiac surgeons perform the most complex surgeries with success rates above the national average. Our team of heart specialists includes cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiovascular surgeons, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, pediatric cardiologists and vascular surgeons.

Whether you need care for heart disease or heart attack, TriStar Health offers a full range of cardiovascular services with customized treatment plans for your unique needs.

Heart attack care

Chest pain, heart failure, heart attacks and stroke all require quick treatment for the best chances of survival and outcomes. We offer 20 sites for emergency care across Middle Tennessee and Bowling Green, Kentucky, including 11 hospitals that are accredited as Chest Pain Centers by The Joint Commission and the American College of Cardiology.

Our Chest Pain Centers provide a wide range of services including cardiac catheterization labs and comprehensive heart imaging. In addition, our freestanding emergency care centers provide emergency cardiac care and will facilitate admission to one of our hospitals if a higher level of care is needed.

Heart and vascular surgery

At nine of our locations we offer advanced heart and vascular surgery, including cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures. We use the latest advances in minimally invasive techniques, equipment and devices whenever possible, helping to lead to faster recovery, less pain and a shorter hospital stay. Some of our surgical specialties include atrial fibrillation (AFib) ablation, mitral valve repair, off-pump bypass, robot-assisted and percutaneous procedures.

Our cardiac surgery program at TriStar Centennial Medical Center is recognized by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons by receiving three out of three stars in heart transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral valve replacement (MVRR), and coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG). Additionally, TriStar Centennial is ranked among the nation's top 50 cardiac hospitals by Fortune/PINC.

Heart screening and imaging

We provide comprehensive heart screening and imaging services from specialists dedicated to diagnosing and preventing heart disease. From cardiac stress tests to cardiac calcium scoring and echocardiograms, we offer a wide range of imaging procedures and tests utilizing the latest diagnostic technologies, including state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs, to ensure you receive the most accurate diagnosis and best possible treatment options.

Cardiac rehabilitation

We provide cardiac rehabilitation at eight of our TriStar Health locations. These specialized programs help you on your journey to recovery after experiencing a cardiac event such as heart attack, heart surgery or heart failure.

Our heart rehabilitation centers offer both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, and include education about lifestyle, nutrition, exercise and risk reduction.
