Robotic surgery

Many surgeries at our hospital use minimally invasive or robotic procedures. Robotic technology allows surgery to go beyond the limits of the human hand. It introduces precise, versatile instrument movement combined with 3D visualization of the operative site.

The use of robotic and minimally invasive surgery helps minimize the physical and emotional impact of surgery on patients. Procedures are performed through small incisions, rather than the large incisions needed for conventional open surgeries. This creates less patient trauma and pain, minimal scarring, less blood loss, faster recovery and shorter hospital stays.

We are able to perform robotic surgery procedures in the following specialties:

  • Bariatrics (weight loss)
  • Cardiothoracic
  • General
  • Gynecology
  • Thoracic oncology
  • Urology
