Anesthesiology at TriStar NorthCrest
Anesthesiology is the practice of medicine dedicated to the relief of pain and total care of the surgical patient before, during and after surgery. Our anesthesiology team at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is staffed by Board Certified CRNA’s (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist), with Anesthesiologist collaboration.
Our services range from general, regional (epidural and spinal) to IV sedation, monitored anesthesia care and conscious sedation. In addition, we offer various types of “Anesthesia Blocks” which are used for procedures such as shoulders, arm, foot, ankle, knee and hip surgeries as well as fractures and major abdominal/pelvic procedures.
How to find our surgery center
The operating suites, the endoscopy suite and the post anesthesia care unit (PACU) are located on the first floor of the medical center. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A team is on call at all times for emergencies.
The family waiting room is located on the first floor immediately adjacent to the surgical department. Patients may be admitted to the Medical/Surgical floors of TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center following surgery if the procedure is not a scheduled same day procedure. If an operation is scheduled as an elective procedure, the patient should arrive at the medical center on the day of surgery to the Same Day Surgery department, which is also located on the first floor.
