The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville

The Birth Center offers luxurious private birthing suites, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a "lactation boutique" with specialized breastfeeding services. Designed for maximum comfort with spa-like amenities, our birth center allows new parents and their families to feel relaxed and at home when they welcome their new bundle of joy.
Whether it is your first baby or your fifth, every single experience should be special and memorable. That is why we offer patients access to:
- 24/7 epidural pain management
- Birthing classes to make you feel more comfortable and at ease
- Board-certified physicians and compassionate nurses
- Lactation consultants to make breastfeeding as enjoyable and successful as possible
- Newborn monitoring system that ensures the highest level of infant security
- Outpatient lactation program to provide ongoing support
Parenting classes and hospital tours
We provide classes for you before, during and after your bundle of joy arrives. All classes are taught by nurses from our Women’s Services Program who are certified in Childbirth Education.
In addition, tours are offered of our family-oriented birthing area and the nursery. The tours are led by our obstetric staff who are available to answer all questions.
Level II NICU
It does not matter if you are a first-time mom or practically an expert, you want the security of a birthing center that can support all of your needs. If your baby arrives early or needs specialized medical care, our advanced Level II NICU is equipped to care for newborns who need extra attention. Our expert staff is here for you and your tiny miracle.

We keep families close. If your newborn needs to stay in the NICU, we provide private suites for parents to sleep in the same room with their babies. Other features of our NICU include:
- In-room refrigerator and dining
- iPad for neonatal education and FaceTime when parents are unable to visit

- Sofa sleeper for parents to spend the night
