Orthopedic care
Orthopedists are doctors who take care of the entire musculoskeletal system. They diagnose and treat conditions such sprains, strains, broken bones, arthritis and osteoporosis. Some of the treatments they offer include recommending lifestyle changes, applying casts and performing surgeries, such as ligament repairs or total joint replacements.

Joint replacement
We provide the following procedures for joint replacement:
Hip replacement
When cartilage in the hip joint wears away with age, surgeons can restore range of motion and eliminate joint pain with a metal or plastic covering for raw, arthritic bone ends. We also offer hip replacement revisions if you have experienced hip instability (dislocation), infections or component failure.
Knee replacement
Knee replacement can be a solution if less invasive options, such as anti-inflammatory medication and cortisone injections, are not effective. Similar to hip replacement, knee replacement involves surgeons using a plastic or metal covering to restore range of motion and help eliminate pain. We also offer revision surgery for previous knee placement procedures.
Unicompartmental knee replacement
This operation replaces only the portions of the joint most damaged by arthritis and is less invasive than a full knee replacement. It can have significant advantages, especially in younger patients who may require a second artificial knee replacement as the first one begins to wear out.
Shoulder replacement
Shoulder replacement surgery replaces the shoulder socket with a plastic socket. A metal ball and stem are then inserted into the shoulder socket. Our surgeons are also able to perform:
- Partial shoulder replacement surgery (replacing the ball at the top of the arm but not the socket)
- Reverse shoulder surgery (typically for those with rotator cuff injuries or arthritis of the shoulder)
Minimally invasive surgery
In the past, most orthopedic surgical procedures required large incisions, lengthy hospital stays and weeks of recovery. Today, advanced viewing scopes and smaller surgical instruments have transformed the way many procedures are performed, particularly joint replacement surgery. We offer robot-assisted surgery for many orthopedic procedures to give you benefits like shorter recovery times and less scarring.
Spine surgery
Similar to joint replacement surgery, if more conservative methods are not effective in treating your back pain or condition, you may be a candidate for spine surgery. Our orthopedic surgeons may perform procedures such as:
- Cervical disc replacement
- Kyphoplasty
- Lumbar fusion
- Lumbar laminectomy
- Spine fusion
